- Click Start - Control Panel.
- Click Network and Internet Connections.
- Click Network Connections.
- Right-click on the Ethernet icon and select Properties.
- Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) by clicking
it once and select Properties.
- Select the options Obtain an IP address automatically
and Obtain DNS server address automatically then
click OK.
- Click OK to exit the Local Area Connection Properties
window. Your new settings should take effect immediately.
