University of Louisiana at Lafayette computing support services makes extensive changes to accommodate the wide range of computing users on campus. These changes effect all students, faculty and staff members.

The university has switched all wireless users to open access requiring a login with your CLID to the initial (UWIN login page). This is the initial page you should see, click [Here].

These steps must be followed if you would like to pop your mail to your computer from the wireless network.

The reason you would have reached this page is you browser is showing either of these images:

Under Internet Explorer version 6.


OR

Under Internet Explorer 7.


Either of these problems mean that the Signed Security Certificate is not installed on your browser. Please follow these steps to install this certificate signed by ULL into your browser.

  1. Click on this link [Here] to download the certificate but click on open instead of saving the certificate.



  2. When the certificate opens click on Install Certificate.




  3. The next screen should be the Certificate Import Wizard, shown below. Click Next to continue.



  4. Next screen will show the Certificate Store, make sure Automatically select the cerificate store based on the type of certificate radio button is selected and click Next.




  5. Completing the import we will click Finish.




  6. Click OK on the import successful box.




  7. The to complete the configuration click OK on the Certificate window. You have successful completed this step.
