Migrating/Importing Content

Importing course content from one course to another:

  1. In the course you wish to import the content into, click Import in the Administration block.

     
  2. On the Find a course to import data from page, select the course you wish to import data from and click Continue

     
  3. On the Initial settings/Backup settings page, confirm that all of the boxes are checked and click Next.

     
  4. On the Schema settings/Include page, select the content you wish to import into the course and click Next.
    By default, all content will be selected.

     
  5. On the Confirmation and review page, confirm all of the content you wish to import into the course has a checkmark next to it - if the information is correct click Perform Import, if the information is not correct click Previous to return to  Schema settings/Include page to make changes.

     
  6. Upon completion you will receive an Import complete message, click Continue and you will be redirected to the course the content was imported into.
