Phone System Maintenance

Yesterday, July 21, 2014, the phone system experienced problems with accessing voicemail.  The telecommunications techs worked diligently to resolve the issue.  As a result of their work campus personnel are able to access their voice mail.  

However, problems still exist that will require additional maintenance.  The problems are causing the following issues:

Off campus callers cannot access the voicemail system

Off campus and on campus callers are not directly routed to voicemail

The technicians will be performing maintenance on the phone system during the lunch hour today to rectify the problems.  The maintenance will require a reboot of the phone system.  Between 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM you will notice a period of about 30 minutes when the phone system is completely inoperable.  You will not be able to place or receive phone calls.  There will be no dial tone on your campus phone.
