Missing Blocks

Where did my Administration block go?!

Moodle gives users the ability to "dock" blocks. Docking a block moves a block from your left and right side bars to a minimized dock on the left side of your page.

To dock a block, click the small left facing arrow icon in the darker gray title bar of a block.

Using Checklists

Uses the Checklist activity/resource to enable Students to better track and monitor their progress in your online Moodle course. This presentation was recorded live during a Spring 2015 MUG meeting -- the information presented here is from Moodle 2.7, but that information is still relevant.

Using a Meta-Course

Professors teaching more than one section of the same course may choose to have a meta-course created to simplify the management of duplicate and cross listed courses.

Once you have requested your meta-course (see Moodle Help Form) and received confirmation it has been created, you will need to add your courses to that meta-course.

Adding & Removing Users

Students are added and removed automatically, based on roster information acquired daily from the MVS ISIS database "snapshot". Since the "snapshot" is only updated once a day, there can be up to 24 hours delay processing drops and adds.

Adding Users

If you wish to add additional but not officially-registered students, teachers or non-editing teachers to your course you may do so.
