Office 365 ProPlus
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the Student Government Association (via STEP) are proud to offer Office 365 ProPlus to our faculty, staff, and students.
NOTE: These instructions are intended to guide you to obtain Office365's Office Software only. No other Office365 services, such as OneNote, are being offered at this time. Support is available for Office products only.
First Time Users
- Visit Office.com/GetOffice365
- Enter your Campus email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) and click "Get Started"
If you are a student, choose "I'm a student"; if you are an employee, choose "I'm a teacher"
You will get message that says you already have an account.
Follow the prompts to login to Office 365 and log in with email@example.com and password
- Sign into Office 365 (portal.office.com) with firstname.lastname@example.org and password.
- This will take you to the installation page, where you can access your Office 365 ProPlus software.
The website isn't accepting my password!
You will log in to Office 365 with your Campus ID and the same password you use to log in to Zimbra webmail, STEP lab computers, and other campus resources. If you are experiencing problems with your password, please use our password reset utility to ensure your password is consistent across all campus IT resources.
I need help installing, where do I go?

What does Office 365 ProPlus include?
Office 365 ProPlus comes with a full version of Office and familiar Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Office 365 ProPlus is a user-based service and allows each user to install on up to five PCs or Macs, and five tablets (iPad) and access Office mobile applications on iPhone and Android phones. What happens when I leave the University (graduation, taking a semester off, etc)?
Your Office 365 subscription through the University ends when you leave the University (whether this be graduation or taking a semester off).
