View Previous Versions of a File

If your file is stored in OneDrive or SharePoint in Microsoft 365, you can go back to a previous version of file. This is incredibly important if a mistake was made, you have issues with malware or a virus, or you just prefer a previous version. This is also important when you're collaborating with others and someone makes changes you didn't want in a file.

The experience for Version History is similar across your apps.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) FAQs

Important things to know

You won't have to do the second step very often. Some people worry that multifactor authentication is going to be inconvenient, but generally it's only used the first time you sign into an app or device, or the first time you sign in after changing your password. After that you'll just need your primary factor, usually a password, like you do now.

The extra security comes from the fact that somebody trying to break into your account is probably not using your device, so they'll need to have that second factor to get in.

Clear Your Cache

What is my cache?

We're talking about internet cache, pronounced like the word "cash".  It is a place where data about websites you visit are stored on your computer.  By storing data this helps build the pages and load faster because all the content, style sheets, pictures, scripts and other data used by the website can be loaded from your stored cache.  In most cases your computer will compare timestamps on files between your cache and the site you are visiting, if you visit the same site over and over, and will update only the newer files from the site.
