Meeting Videos in Microsoft Teams

Collin Wynne -- Wed, 08/05/2020 - 7:58am

We get a lot of questions about the meeting videos which are recorded in Microsoft Teams and how to let others access it. Currently, Faculy & Staff can upload via Microsoft Stream videos and students cannot. We want to have some form of control of what is uploaded to Microsoft Stream (The video service which stores the Teams Videos). People in the meeting should be able to view the video from the "Chat" which is created via the Team Meeting. Students may have trouble seeing it but Faculty and Staff who "Were in that meeting" shoud not. I have a tutorial which shows you two things:

  • How to change the permissions to allow any faculty and staff see the video and get a link to share
  • Download the video and store in your OneDrive and share for your students to see

I have the Microsoft Teams Meeting Video Help File here. If you need any further help you can call the IT Service Desk at 337-482-HELP or email us @ ithelp@louisiana.edu. You can also reserve a slot to get Teams help here: https://servicedesk.louisiana.edu/ucsstraining
