Configuring DHCP for Mac OS 7.6 and above

SELF-HELP GUIDES > CONNECT VIA DHCP > CONFIGURE FOR MAC OS 7.6

  1. Select the Apple menu - Control Panel - TCP/IP.


  2. Locate the Connect via drop-down box and select Ethernet.
  3. Locate the Configure drop-down box and select Using DHCP server. The DHCP server will supply IP address, subnet mask, router address, and name server address.


  4. Locate the Search domains text field and type louisiana.edu .
