There is no denying the nature of technology in the workplace.  It is designed and implemented to help streamline complex tasks.  But like any other office equipment used constantly on a daily basis, technology breaks.  The question is....who you gonna call?

When you submit an e-mail to ithelp@louisiana.edu a ticket is automatically generated in the work ticket system.  You get an auto-reply letting you know the ticket was recorded, a number associated with the ticket, and the opporunity to reply with updated information.

If you click on Help in the left hand side navigation menu, then click on Online Request, you can fill out a form that, when submitted, automatically generates a ticket in our work ticket system.  Just like sending an e-mail, you get an auto-reply with the ticket number and the opportunity to reply to update or clarify information.
