Problematic Devices

Many networked devices are designed for home use, as opposed to a managed network such as GeauxWiFi. As a result, these devices will either simply will not work with the Campus network, or will cause interference with GeauxWiFi. 

Known problematic devices:

• Wireless Routers
• Wireless Printers will not work on the campus network
• Streaming devices that rely on UPnP
  e.g. Google Home & Google Chromecast
• Online gaming that requires a specific NAT
  The Networking Team will not make any NAT changes or open ports
